This 6-week course is designed for dogs that have successfully completed a Basic Obedience class.

The class will cover:

2 weeks of Intermediate Obedience

Intermediate Obedience continues and perfects commands introduced in Basic Obedience such as “sit,” “down,” “come,” "stay" and “wait.”  Perfecting the Walking nicely on a leash will also be covered (“heel”). Retrieving items over broad jump and panel jump.

 

2 weeks Rally Obedience

Rally is a growing sport that combines obedience and fun. It can be a great low-impact way to teach focus. It can be a fun new challenge for obedience dogs. For the family pet, rally can be a great, fun introduction to the world of dog sports.

 

 2 weeks K-9 Freestyle

Canine Freestyle Federation (CFF) Definition: Canine Freestyle is a choreographed performance organized with music, illustrating the training and joyful relationship of a dog and handler team. Freestyle is an excellent discipline to illustrate the conformation and movement of the dog. The reach, drive and beauty of an athletic, trained dog moving to music can take one’s breath away.

FDC defines K-9 Freestyle as just plain fun!
